All mill relining personnel undergo comprehensive training. This training focuses on the skills, professionalism, and safety requirements necessary to undertake an efficient and safe mill reline. As such, our teams are held in high regard throughout the industry and have a reputation for expediency, innovation, and safety.

In working towards a zero-harm goal, we make every effort to provide a working environment that minimises incidents of risk, personal injury, ill health, or damage to property. Our EHS systems are constantly evolving in accordance with emerging industry standards and the nature of our business.

LOOKING AFTER THE ENVIRONMENT

GMR is aware of the environmental impact mining can have and we’re doing our part to preserve and care for our environment. Through nature-conscious systems, we minimise adverse environmental impacts, and we strive to use resources efficiently by reducing, reusing, and recycling waste. Further, GMR management works to understand relevant environmental legislation, and uses that understanding to adjust our works accordingly, such as incorporating relevant requirements of environmental laws into our processes.

We encourage all staff to make positive and responsible lifestyle choices in their own environmental practices and provide appropriate training to all employees and contractors to ensure EHS issues and responsibilities are clearly understood.
